Shiratori Garden is located in Atsuta-ku, Nagoya City, and is the Tokai region's most authentic Japanese garden with a pond. Based on the theme of "water," it depicts the story of water flowing from the Kiso River into Ise Bay, and the ponds, waterfalls, and artificial hills are skillfully arranged to condense the beauty of Japan's nature. By touring the garden, you can enjoy the beauty of the garden from various angles, and the trees and flowers that show different expressions in each season will soothe the hearts of visitors. In particular, during the autumn foliage season, the entire garden is dyed red and yellow, creating a breathtaking view.
Within the garden, there is an authentic teahouse called "Seihatei," named after Shiratori-gu, a branch shrine of Atsuta Shrine, which is also a symbol of Nagoya.
In addition, light-up events are sometimes held at night, allowing you to enjoy the garden in a fantastic atmosphere that is different from the daytime.
Atsuta Shrine is located nearby.
