The Iwaiune Large Cherry Tree is an Azumahigan cherry tree located in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, estimated to be approximately 800 years old.
The cherry tree, which is estimated to be 800 years old, is extremely large, with a trunk circumference of about 6.5m and branches that stretch 23m, making it a truly impressive sight. During the flowering season from early to mid-April, the delicate pale pink flowers bloom in full glory, attracting many visitors. The tree is also lit up at night, allowing you to enjoy a fantastic night view of the cherry blossoms that is different from the daytime.

It is not as popular as Daigo Sakura, but it is located about a 20-minute drive from Daigo Sakura, so if you have the time and are interested, it is worth stopping by.
