Onigajo is a group of strangely shaped rocks that stretches for about 1.1 km along the Kumano Kodo Iseji Route.
Onigajo was registered as a World Heritage Site as part of the Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.
The rocks have various shapes, such as demon faces, helmets, swords and spears, creating a magical island-like landscape.

Shishiiwa is a strangely shaped rock with a height of about 25 meters on the coast a little southwest of Onigajo.
