Hikimi Gorge is a valley located in Hikimi Town, Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture.
Hikimi Gorge consists of three areas: Omote Hikimi Gorge, Ura Hikimi Gorge, and Oku Hikimi Gorge.

Omote Hikimi Gorge is accessible by car and is the easiest to see.

Urahikomi Gorge is a valley of precipitous cliffs. It is also a famous spot for autumn leaves.

Okuhikimi Gorge has many waterfalls along the 2km promenade. At the far end of the promenade (a 30-minute walk), there is the Dairyuzu San-no-taki Waterfall, which has a drop of more than 50m.

For day trip hot springs near Hikimi Gorge, there are “Hikimi Gorge Onsen Yasuragi no Yu” and “Mito Onsen Yumotokan” near Michi-no-Eki Sun Eight Mito, a little further away.
