Mori clan residence "Koriyama Castle"

Yoshida Koriyama Castle is a mountain castle that prospered as the residence of the Mori clan, including Motonari Mouri. It is located along National Route 54 heading from Hiroshima City to Miyoshi City.
It used to be one of the largest castles in the Chugoku region, but now there are no buildings and many of the stone walls are crumbling.

However, it has a high historical value and has been selected as one of the 100 best castles in Japan.

There is also the grave of Mori Motonari.
