Akimuriyama is the second highest mountain in Hiroshima prefecture with an altitude of 1,339m.

In the surrounding area, you can see many types of plants, including many alpine plants, and it is designated as Nishichugoku Mountains National Park. It is the most popular mountain in Hiroshima prefecture for climbing and trekking.
