Located in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, Kotobuki Castle is a huge confectionery store and tourist facility that sells famous sweets from the San'in region. As its name suggests, the store is characterized by its unique exterior that imitates a Japanese castle, which is the first thing that surprises visitors. The store is spacious, and a variety of Japanese and Western sweets are lined up, including the classic Tottori souvenir "Inaba no Shirousagi". The building of Kotobuki Castle is said to be modeled after Yonago Castle, the most famous castle in Tottori Prefecture. It is also famous that you can observe the manufacturing process of "Inaba no Shirousagi" (White Rabbit of Inaba) inside the building, but in fact this sweet is made based on the myth of "Inaba no Shirousagi" (White Rabbit of Inaba) that appears in the Kojiki.
