This shrine is located halfway up Mt. Otokoyama, which can be seen from a hill away from Himeji Castle. The summit is a small park with flower beds.

This spirit was taken from Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine in Kyoto during the construction of Himeji Castle.

Although it requires a long flight of stairs, it is recommended for those who want to see Himeji Castle from a different angle.
