The Yoshijima family is an old family that was involved in the buying and selling of raw silk and cocoons, finance, and sake brewing from the late Edo period to the Meiji period. The current main building was built in 1907 (Meiji 40) and is a two-story wooden building with a gable, flat roof, and tiled roof.

The beams arranged vertically and horizontally in the main pillar and atrium are beautiful.
