Kurashiki Coffee House was founded in 1971 and is located along a street lined with white-walled storehouses in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. The interior of the store is a Japanese-modern space that makes use of traditional architecture and has a calm atmosphere.

This is a long-established store that has been pursuing delicious coffee by carefully selecting and sorting each of the beans it purchases, and stubbornly adhering to its cultivated roasting techniques and cloth drip method.

There are no desserts such as sweets, but coffee jelly is sometimes offered seasonally.

Coffee House is a specialty store that has been sticking to cloth drip for over 40 years with the philosophy of "70% ingredients, 20% technique, and 10% heart." Carefully selected raw beans are thoroughly cleaned and hand-picked to remove defective beans, and then carefully roasted by our own roasting craftsmen. They are evenly ground with a high-cut mill, and coarse powder and chaff are removed to eliminate impurities. Their strength is their commitment to adjusting the richness and aroma through dialogue with the cloth, and to bringing out the rich flavor of the beans to the fullest.

The flannel drip method is a method of extracting coffee using a cloth filter called flannel. Unlike paper drip, the cloth filter extracts more of the oil and flavor of the coffee, resulting in a mellow, full-bodied taste. It can also be used repeatedly, making it an environmentally friendly method of extraction.
