Ichinokurasawa is a valley located at the eastern foot of Mt. Tanigawa in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture. It is counted as one of Japan's three major rocky areas, and is an impressive scenic spot with cliffs as high as 300 meters.
Ichinokurazawa is known as a mecca for mountaineering and rock climbing, and is visited by many climbers and climbers. Many people also enjoy hiking and trekking, and can enjoy the nature of the four seasons.

Private cars are restricted from the Tanigawadake Mountaineering Guidance Center, but a shuttle bus runs from the Tanigawadake Mountain Museum at the Tanigawadake Ropeway.
The shuttle bus operates from mid-May to early November, with buses running about once an hour between 9:00 and 15:00.
