Located in a residential area of Iga, this small Japanese confectionery shop is popular for its melt-in-your-mouth warabimochi.
The warabimochi is filled with soybean flour and is filled with creamy, gooey warabimochi. It seems that warabimochi often sells out by mid-morning, so it's best to make a reservation.
By the way, "Macchin" is the nickname for the owner's older brother, who currently runs Tsubameya in Gifu. The Iga shop is the original and is now run by his mother and sister.

In addition to warabimochi, they also sell dorayaki, karinto, sablés, and other products.

[Helpful Concerns]
The shop is small and located in a tangled residential area. There is limited parking, so large groups may be a nuisance.
There is parking for two cars in the vacant gravel lot next to the shop. If the lot is full, you can park on the street in front of the shop.
