Komanooyama in Okayama Prefecture is a mountain with an altitude of 1,281m located on the prefectural border with Hyogo Prefecture. It is a mountain connected to Mt. Goyama, the highest peak in Okayama Prefecture, and is located on the west side of the Mt. Goyama Mountain Range.

The ridge near the summit of Mt. Komanoo is covered with bamboo grass, and the view is open to the front.
The view from the wide summit is spectacular, with views of the mountains bordering Tottori Prefecture to the north, the Nagi Mountain Range to the west, and the beautiful mountain range of Mt. Hinakura and Kibi Kogen to the south.

The Komanoo trailhead is well-maintained, including a parking lot and restrooms, and is easy to use.

From the Komanoo trailhead, the Mt. Komanoo, Mt. Nabegatani, Mt. Funaki, and Mt. Go routes are about 10km round trip and take about 5 hours.
