Onigashima Cave is a cave located on Megijima Island, about 4 km north of Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. Located at the top of Mt. Washigamine in the center of the island, it is a huge cave measuring 100m high, 400m deep, and 4,000m wide.
The cave's interior recreates the demon's great hall, living room, and the demon guard's waiting room, creating a cool atmosphere even in summer. Statues of Momotaro and demons are also located at the entrance to the cave, making it known as the setting for the Momotaro legend.

It's about a 3-minute walk from the exit to the observation deck.

There is a shuttle bus (for a fee) that runs once an hour to Onigashima Great Cave.

It takes about 45 minutes to walk, but it's a long uphill climb, so it's best to avoid walking on a hot day.

In addition to walking, you can also rent an electric bicycle (1,500 yen).
