Sera Yume Park is an integrated park that combines a prefectural park and a winery, making the most of the natural terrain. Play and learning opportunities are scattered within walking distance, including the mist fountain in the community plaza, the grassy recreational area, the open-field observation plaza (with a large slide), and the nature observation garden, which preserves flora and fauna. The park's observation deck offers panoramic views of the Sera Highlands.

The park is stroller-friendly, and equipped with wheelchair access, nursing stations, and ostomate-accessible restrooms, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for leisure activities for three generations. The well-maintained lawn makes it a great place for a family picnic.

In the winery area, you can sample and purchase Japanese wine made from Sera-grown grapes. The direct sales shop and Yume Kogen Market offer wine sweets and local specialties, and you can even enjoy a foot bath and a seasonal mini steam locomotive, all in a park-like atmosphere.

It was midsummer on the day we visited, but the highland location meant the breeze was a bit cool.
