Located in Tsuwano Town, Shimane Prefecture, the "Roadside Station Tsuwano Onsen Nagomi no Sato" is a complex facility that includes the natural radon hot spring "Asagiri no Yu." It is a base for sightseeing in Tsuwano, where you can enjoy local specialties and gourmet food, as well as the traditional performing art of Iwami Kagura.
Roadside Station Tsuwano Onsen Nagomi no Sato is a roadside station located in the rich nature of Tsuwano. Its greatest attraction is the natural radon hot spring "Asagiri no Yu" located on the premises. You can relax and unwind from your travels in a variety of baths, including a spacious large bath overlooking Shiroyama and Aonoyama, an open-air bath surrounded by rocks and greenery, and a sake barrel-style cypress bath. The spring quality is a simple radioactive cold mineral spring (natural radon), which is said to be effective against neuralgia, muscle pain, and poor circulation. After bathing, your skin will feel moisturized and refreshed both body and mind.

Inside the facility, there is "Michikusa Goods," which has a wide selection of Tsuwano's specialties and souvenirs, and "Aono Fresh Market," which has a wide selection of fresh local vegetables and wild plants. At the restaurant "Akanegumo," you can enjoy set meals and noodles made with local ingredients. In addition, a regular performance of "Iwami Kagura" is held on the first Sunday of every month, allowing you to enjoy a powerful performance of traditional performing arts up close. There is also a barbecue garden (reservation required) and an experience workshop, so families can enjoy themselves all day long.
