Located in Kibichuo-cho, Kaga-gun, Okayama Prefecture, "Kamogawa Marujo Roadside Station" is the first roadside station registered in Okayama Prefecture and has a long history. It is rich in fresh local agricultural products and specialty products, allowing you to experience the food and culture rooted in the region.
Kamogawa Marujo Roadside Station opened on May 31, 1994 and is one of the oldest roadside stations in Okayama Prefecture. Located along National Route 429, the spacious site is home to the Marujo Furusato Village Farm Products Direct Sales Shop, which sells fresh vegetables and fruits directly sourced from local farmers. Many local residents and tourists visit the station in search of seasonal flavors. In addition, you can find souvenirs unique to Okayama in the specialty products section. The ingredients and processed products grown in the rich nature of Kibichuo Town are perfect as travel mementos and souvenirs.

Inside the roadside station, there is a restaurant called Shinanoya and an udon restaurant, where you can taste simple, warm dishes made with local ingredients. You can take your time enjoying the local flavors during a break from driving. In addition, there is a playground for children on the site, making it a safe spot for families to stop by.

It is easily accessible, about 25 minutes by car from the Kayo IC on the Okayama Expressway, and can be used as a base for sightseeing in Okayama. In particular, the monthly "Enjo Asaichi" event is popular as an opportunity to interact with local producers.
