Katayama House is a mansion that was built to mimic the style of the Edo period to the Meiji era, you can lunch at the tour and Sabo Katayama House in the mansion.
The Katayama Residence is a historic building that was renovated from the mansion of a wealthy farmer dating back to the Meiji period. This mansion, which has been watching over the history of the region for a long time, features a quaint main house, storehouse, and beautiful garden.

The interior of the mansion is a magnificent structure that highlights the craftsmanship of the craftsmen at that time, and even now, after its restoration, it still retains a strong trace of that time. In particular, the ceiling with thick beams, the transoms with intricate designs, and the polished wooden floors convey the lifestyle of the past and the attention to architecture. You can spend time quietly in a space that gives you a sense of the weight of history while gazing at the garden that gives you a sense of the changing seasons. The space, which has been well-maintained in every corner, gives visitors a sense of peace.

The wide earthen floor in one corner houses the Katayama Residence Tea House, a light cafe that makes use of the historical value of the mansion and serves simple lunches using local vegetables, reminiscent of a mother's cooking.
