Sesshu Birthplace Park in Soja is a park located in Akahama, Soja City, Okayama Prefecture, which is said to be the birthplace of Sesshu, an artist monk from the Muromachi period. The park will open on November 21, 2020 to commemorate the 600th anniversary of Sesshu's birth, and will not only introduce Sesshu's life and achievements, but also be used as a plaza for relaxation.

The Exhibition and Exchange Facility provides an easy-to-understand introduction to Sesshu's life and representative works through videos, models, panels, and more. Also on display are Sesshu's art supplies and tools, allowing you to experience the depth of Sesshu's art.
