The Orient Museum houses approximately 4,700 artifacts from ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt and is a museum where you can experience different cultures.
Okayama City Orient Museum exhibits approximately 4,700 pieces of ancient Orient pottery, accessories, inscriptions, etc. collected in the 1930s. The exhibition rooms are divided into themes, and you can trace the flow from Mesopotamia, the birthplace of civilization, to Persia and Egypt. Special exhibitions are held several times a year, and the latest research results and rare items are displayed.

The museum is designed with calm lighting and spacious flow lines, making it easy to appreciate the exhibits carefully. The contents are updated every time the exhibits are changed, so you will find something new no matter how many times you visit. The museum shop sells replicas and catalogs, and there is a wide selection of goods to deepen your knowledge.
