Hiroshima Miyoshi Winery is a winery located in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. It is a tourist spot where you can fully enjoy the charm of wine, from the vineyards to the brewing, tasting, and food.
Hiroshima Miyoshi Winery is located in Higashi Sakaya-cho, Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and makes wine surrounded by rich nature. They use grapes grown in their own fields, as well as grapes carefully grown by contracted farmers in Miyoshi City and the surrounding area, to brew wines that express the terroir of the region. Inside the facility, there is a glass-walled brewery where you can observe the wine-making process, as well as a wine cellar, so you can experience how wine is made.

In the tasting corner, you can casually sample various types of wine, including the flagship brand "TOMOE" series. In the attached shop, you can not only purchase your favorite wine, but also a wide selection of local specialties and original goods that go well with wine. You will not have any trouble choosing souvenirs. In the barbecue garden, you can enjoy barbecues using local ingredients such as Hiroshima Prefecture Wagyu beef along with wine, so there is also a wide variety of food.

Various events are held throughout the year, and the "Spring Miyoshi Wine Festival" and "Autumn Miyoshi Wine Festival" are particularly popular. This is a must-see event for wine lovers, but even those who are not familiar with wine can enjoy grape juice, gourmet food, and a relaxing space in nature. Hiroshima Miyoshi Winery, where you can experience the charm of wine with all five senses, is a perfect tourist spot for families and groups of friends.

[Trivia]
Miyoshi City is also known for the frequent morning fog that is unique to the basin. This fog has various effects on grape cultivation, but Miyoshi Winery has made various efforts to overcome this climatic condition and grow high-quality grapes. There is also a theory that the place name Miyoshi is a combination of the words "misuki" (water village) and "village," and the winery's sparkling wine is named "VILLAQUA" after the "village of water."

[Hidden spot information]
The wine cellar is dimly lit and kept at about 14 degrees Celsius throughout the year, and you can freely watch the wine aging through the window. You can enjoy the aroma of wooden barrels and the unique atmosphere, so be sure to stop by. Also, on nice days, we recommend not only eating in the barbecue garden, but also enjoying a picnic-like atmosphere on the adjacent lawn.
