This is a Showa retro toy museum located in the Yunogo hot spring town.
"Toy Box of Those Days: Showakan" is a unique museum that displays nostalgic toys and daily necessities from the 1950s to 1960s. Once you step inside, you will feel as if you have traveled back in time, and the retro Showa atmosphere will give adults a sense of nostalgia and children a fresh surprise. A collection of about 350 items, including tin toys, celluloid dolls, old home appliances, and candy store items, is lined up in a small space.

Inside the museum, there are several spaces that recreate the life of that time, and posters of nostalgic TV programs, popular character goods, and shopping street scenes are on display. Many of the exhibits can be actually touched, so you can experience the play and life of that time in a more realistic way. Returning to your childhood, experiencing old-fashioned games, and talking with family and friends about "how it was back then" will be an irreplaceable memory.
