In the Kojima Jeans Street, it was made a fortune in the salt industry and the new rice field development in the Edo era, is a mansion of Nozaki house large village headman.

The Former Nozaki Family Residence is a typical large village headman architecture in the Setouchi area, with a site area of about 3,000 tsubo and a total floor area of about 1,000 tsubo. Various buildings such as the main house, earthen storehouse, tea room, and garden have been left, and you can get a glimpse of the life of a wealthy merchant at that time.
