Senjokei, located in Onan Town, Shimane Prefecture, is a valley with dynamic columnar formations. The fresh greenery and autumn leaves are beautiful, and you can enjoy the great outdoors on a stroll or hike.
It is designated as a national scenic spot and belongs to Senjokei Prefectural Natural Park. The Hiyori River, which merges with the Hachinohe River, a tributary of the Enokawa River, erodes the rhyolite. Countless waterfalls can be seen over a total length of 5 kilometers. There are 24 views, including Shirafuji Falls with a drop of 40 meters, Momiji Falls, Aioi Falls, Senjojiki Falls, and Uogiri Falls.
