Kojoji Temple is located on the mountainside of Ikuchi Island on the Shimanami Kaido. The temple is known for its beautiful vermilion three-story pagoda.

The pagoda has been designated as a National Treasure.

The view of the islands from the temple's observatory is also stunning.

The entrance to the approach is located in the middle of the shopping district and near the Setoda Port. Both require a 10-minute walk up the stairs and paved mountain trails.
