Mount Godai, located in the eastern part of Kochi City, is about 139 meters above sea level. From the observation deck at the top of the mountain, you can see the glittering night view of Kochi city below, the lazily flowing Urado Bay, and the majestic panorama of the Pacific Ocean. In particular, it is close to tourist spots such as Makino Botanical Garden and Chikurinji Temple, so you can enjoy history, nature, and magnificent views all at once. A new observation facility is currently under construction, and when completed, you will be able to enjoy the view in an even more comfortable environment.

It is a popular spot for night views.

There is a free parking lot near the observation deck at the top.

Also, just east of Mount Godai Park is Chikurinji Temple, the 31st temple of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage.
