Cape Ashizuri is known as the southernmost cape in Shikoku, and is also known as the only place where the main stream of the Kuroshio Current collides directly with the mainland of Japan.

There is a lighthouse on a steep cliff of 70m.

From the Cape Ashizuri Observation Deck, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the lighthouse and the Pacific Ocean.

There is a nature trail that you can hike around the lighthouse.
