The Imabari Towel Museum is the world's first museum themed around towels, where you can experience the charm of towels with all five senses, from the manufacturing process to the artworks.
Located in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, the Imabari Towel Museum is a complex that combines a gallery where you can see the entire towel manufacturing process and a museum that displays artworks that utilize towel materials and techniques. You can see the process up close, starting with an exhibition of the cotton that is the raw material for towels, then turning it into thread, and finally looming the towels.

Inside the museum, towels from all over the world and towel art works in collaboration with famous characters are on display, allowing you to feel the infinite possibilities of towels. There is also a well-equipped towel shop where you can purchase not only high-quality towels of the Imabari towel brand, but also towels with designs exclusive to the museum.
