Since it is located on a rocky area, the path to the torii gate is a steep slope of approximately 100 meters, climbing over granite rocks and sandy areas.

Around the torii gate, there are rocks that seem like they might fall but don't, and strangely shaped rocks that are known as power spots. Additionally, from the torii gate, you can see the islands of the Seto Inland Sea and the mountains of mainland Shikoku.

The torii gate does not have any historical background, and it seems that it was installed recently.

Climbing up to the torii gate is dangerous, as there is a warning from Kannonji, so only those who do so at their own risk should do so. It is best not to bring children or people who are inexperienced with mountain climbing.

The area near the top of the mountain is chained, and the rock surface has rough sand making it slippery. Be especially careful when descending the mountain.

Because it is dangerous to climb the mountain, we ask that you visit the torii gate in the sky between sunrise and sunset.
