Kotohikiji Beach is a unique beach where untouched nature and modern art coexist, even in Naoshima, known as the island of art. Unlike ordinary beaches, the beach is dotted with torii gates that stand as if buried in the sand and Yayoi Kusama's works, and the unexpected combination of seaside scenery and art attracts visitors.

The charm of the beach is the fusion of beautiful scenery and art. In particular, Yayoi Kusama's pumpkin works, famous for their polka dot patterns, are installed so that they blend into the beach scenery, making it a very popular photo spot.

The torii gates standing on the water's edge also create a unique and mysterious landscape. In the summer, beach huts are also opened, and facilities such as rest, snacks, and showers are available, so you can spend a comfortable time between viewing art.
