Izu-Mito Sea Paradise is a unique aquarium built in a natural cove facing Suruga Bay in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Its impressive shows featuring dolphins, sea lions, and sea lions are popular, and the sight of dolphins swimming around the cove is something you rarely see at other aquariums. The shows, set against the backdrop of the ocean, are open-minded, and you can experience the intelligence and cuteness of the sea animals up close. The aquarium also breeds and exhibits about 500 species of creatures, mainly those from Suruga Bay, the deepest bay in Japan.
