A three-tiered terrace stretching approximately 120m in length embraces the town, and its wooden ceiling and large glass exterior openings let in soft natural light. Inside, the approximately 9m high atrium hall is decorated with bookshelves that reach all the way to the ceiling, seamlessly linking it with the Tsutaya Bookstore and cafe. Directly connected to the north exit of the station, it has become a "living room for the town" that combines library functions with support for civic activities.
