The nearby Yoshii Ryuten Auto Campsite is a better campsite, but day camping is available for free. Also, since there is a lot of shade from trees, I think it is somewhat cool in the summer.
It's about a 5-minute walk from Yoshii Ryuten Auto Campsite, so we recommend staying overnight at Yoshii Ryuten Auto Campsite and participating in the viewing party on Fridays and Saturdays.
The day camp is free to use, but it may be best to make a reservation in advance as it may be used by groups.
