Kashio Onsen Mogamiso is a simple hot spring that continues to flow since the Edo period. The simple radioactive "cold mineral spring" with a temperature of approximately 20°C is heated and provided as a free-flowing bath, boasting a soft feel on the skin. The small bathtubs offer a connoisseur's close-up view of the "flowing water" quietly overflowing from the surface. Hot spring enthusiasts from within and outside the prefecture flock here for the therapeutic spa atmosphere.

Although the water is heated, it is a radium spring, and its lukewarm quality leaves skin feeling moisturized and smooth.

Bathing costs 800 yen for up to one hour. One hour of rest is free.

The facility offers a tatami-floored rest room with one-hour free use, as well as private rooms for a fee. Reservations are required for the family bath, with last reservations accepted at 5:00 PM (due to filling). Towels are generally required (though they are available for purchase), and the hot spring water is not drinkable.
