Gomi Market is run by the Hinase Town Fisheries Cooperative Association, and is packed with fresh seafood that was just landed early in the morning. In addition to local fish such as sea bream and flounder, the "Hinase oysters" are famous nationwide, especially in winter. There is a corner where you can grill and eat oysters with shells on the spot, and shucked oysters are also sold. The wives of fishermen sell them with loud voices, and the lively atmosphere is also one of the attractions.

Even outside of oyster season, you can enjoy Hinase's new specialty "Hinase rock oysters" (April to late July), fresh seafood, and processed products all year round. Since they can be purchased at a more affordable price than the market price, many locals and tourists from far away visit the market. There is also a barbecue corner (attached to the Sea Station Shioji) where you can grill and eat the seafood you purchased on the spot, so you can fully enjoy freshly caught seafood.
