It has the largest 101cm reflecting telescope in the Chugoku region. You can see beyond the universe, such as nebulae and star clusters.
Bisei Town in Ibara City has "Ibara City Starry Sky Park", which has been selected as one of Japan's top three star spots, and is a place where you can see the beautiful starry sky.

Bisei Astronomical Observatory does not allow entry to the premises after hours, so please check the official website.

On the adjacent site, there is a theme park called "Medieval Yumegahara", which mainly focuses on farming villages in this area from the Kamakura/Muromachi period.
