Tennindo is a Japanese confectionery shop in Takahashi that has been in business since the Edo period. Its signature product, "Yubeshi," is a simple rice cake confection made by combining domestically produced glutinous rice dough with chopped yuzu peel, sugar, and starch syrup, kneading and drying it without the use of additives. The first thing that hits your mouth is the refreshing aroma of yuzu, followed by a moist, chewy texture and gentle sweetness. It is said to have originated as a gift to the Bitchu Matsuyama domain, and has long been beloved as a "Takahashi-esque flavor."
