Located along National Route 53, Tofu Chikuwa no Sato Hotei is a direct sales store that offers about 80 kinds of tofu chikuwa and fish paste products made by a long-established store founded in 1865.

Tofu chikuwa is made of 70% tofu and 30% fish paste. It is said to be a product created in the Edo period with a spirit of frugality.

There are many different kinds of chikuwa. You can also sample each one.

There is also a corner where you can drink the delicious underground water of the Chiyo River and homemade soy milk for free. In the deep-frying workshop, tofu chikuwa and seasonal vegetable tempura are fried after ordering, so you can enjoy the fresh aroma in the store.

In the eat-in space, we offer menus that can only be enjoyed here, such as soy milk-based gelato, soy milk smoothies made with local ingredients, menus supervised by Tottori's long-established restaurant "Takumi Kappoten," and beef tendon stew curry. The souvenir corner is lined with tofu chikuwa assortments, original kamaboko, and handmade tofu, making them perfect souvenirs.

It is located along National Route 54 heading from Okayama Prefecture to Tottori City. Nearby is the Tottori Minami IC on the Tottori Expressway (toll-free section). It is very close to the IC, so it's a great place to get off the highway and stop by.

The main store is at 223 Motouomachi 3-chome, Tottori City, but it is in a residential area and there is almost no parking, so if you are heading to Okayama Prefecture by car, it is easier to shop at this store.
