It is located in the center of Okage Yokocho, which flourished as a town in front of Ise Jingu Shrine, and boasts a history of about 300 years, having been founded in 1707 (Hoei 4).
In addition to Akafuku Mochi, Akafuku Main Store also sells other Japanese sweets such as Akafuku Zenzai, Akafuku Ice, and Akafuku Manju. There is also an ``Akafuku Experience Workshop'' where you can watch the manufacturing process of Akafuku Mochi.
Akafuku Main Store is a must-visit tourist spot when visiting Ise Grand Shrine, and is visited by many tourists from Japan and abroad.
