Toyota Stadium is one of the largest soccer stadiums in Japan. Its distinctive retractable roof and the overwhelming impact it creates when events are held there are its attractions.
It is one of the home stadiums of Nagoya Grampus. Many international matches for the Japanese national team are held here.
Located along the Yahagi River that runs through Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, this is one of the largest soccer stadiums in Japan. It is the home stadium of the J.League's Nagoya Grampus Eight, and has hosted international competitions such as the Rugby World Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. The stadium is also known for being designed by the world-renowned architect, Kisho Kurokawa. Its greatest feature is its movable roof, which is rare for a soccer stadium. The sight of the huge roof opening and closing is a spectacular sight, and attracts many visitors to the stadium.

Incidentally, the keel-like Toyota Ohashi Bridge that spans the Yahagi River in front of the stadium was also designed by Kisho Kurokawa.
