Sobakiri Shionagian is a stylish soba restaurant housed in a container house in Takumi-cho, Kasaoka City, which opened in 2022.
The soba noodles, made using local ingredients, are rich in flavour and go perfectly with the carefully made dashi broth. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can leisurely enjoy the profound taste of the soba.

The handmade soba noodles are made by craftsmen who grind fully ripened buckwheat flour from Fukui Prefecture on a stone mill and knead it with a slightly larger amount of water, resulting in a fresh and chewy texture.

The menu includes thick rustic "Inaka Soba" and delicate "Seiro", as well as tempura seiro with conger eel and large shrimp from the Seto Inland Sea, and a kashiwa okowa set with a fragrant dashi broth. After the meal, a clear soba soup is served, allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the soba to the fullest.
