This famous waterfall in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture has been selected as one of the "100 Best Waterfalls in Japan." The two streams of Otaki and Medaki are magnificent, and downstream you can also see Hakuryu Falls and Garyu Falls. This is a healing spot with a cool, beautiful mountain stream and plenty of negative ions.
Kanebiki Falls is a famous three-tiered waterfall set against the backdrop of a beautiful karst plateau valley in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture. It was selected as one of the "100 Best Waterfalls in Japan" in 1990. At the top, the male and female waterfalls, each about 20m wide and 40m high, fall side by side, creating a spectacular powerful flow. Together with the Hakuryu Falls in the middle and Garyu Falls in the lower tier, it looks like "three dragons dancing," giving visitors a mystical impression.

The promenade is well maintained and you can walk close to the basin of the falls, so you can experience the cool breeze and spray up close. From the wooden bridge across the valley, you can see the falls directly in front of you, and there are also many photogenic view spots. In the summer, the temperature drops, making it a popular "summer resort." There are conservation donation boxes (100 yen) set up along the way, and we ask for your cooperation in making donations to protect the beauty of the falls.

There are tourist sites in the area, including the "Miyazu Roadside Station, Seaside Kyoto," and it is also an ideal place to access by rental bicycle or combine it with a drive to see Amanohashidate. It is a spot where you can refresh both body and mind while enjoying a leisurely stroll through nature.
